What is the best way to get rid of and prevent mild acne?

One about a week I will have a zit. What is the best product to use for it? I have used proactive and it did not work. HELP!What is the best way to get rid of and prevent mild acne?
Probably the most useful lifestyle changes you can make are to apply hot compresses to pustules and cysts and never to pick or squeeze pimples. Playing with or popping pimples, no matter how careful and clean you are, nearly always makes bumps stay redder and bumpier longer. People often refer to redness as ';scarring,'; but fortunately it usually isn't in the permanent sense. It's just a mark that takes months to fade if left entirely alone.

Use OXY. It is the Best Acne stuff. Use the pads and BAR SOAP... the soap makes you feel a lot better and works really fast. For cream/spot treatment use Terminator Ten by Acne Free. This stuff works and fast. In a day my face looked better and in 3 days it was clear. The Bar Soap is the best and it is a new product. Acne Free face wash works well too.
1) Cook oatmeal and apply on face for fifteen minutes and wash.

2) Make a warm bath with blanch of nettle and rosemary.

3) Apply equal amount of lemon juice and rose water with a cotton ball and wash it after haif an hour for 15 to 20 days.

If you are getting them that mild there might not be much you can do. Just try and wash your face as much as often with a scrub at your local drug store.
